Julia Hodgson is a photographer and photomicrographer whose work is a process of exploration,
locating hidden detail in both biophysical microworlds and industrial landscapes.
Her photomicrographs are published on her online research journal, A Dove in the Bell Jar.
Julia studied at Winchester School of Art and at Bristol University of the West Of England, where
she obtained her Fine Art BA (hons). She has exhibited work at Auto-Italia South East (London),
The Greenwich Gallery (London), Spike Island (Bristol), and Total Kunst Gallery (Edinburgh),
and has had her photography published in the Guardian newspaper.
